Untitled No. 51

From my 10th series of abstracts, a set which was based upon a single colour combination of black, white and blue (plus shades of grey). I also began at this point to experiment with two-tone backgrounds: in this case turquoise blending into a central black section. This is quite a densely-layered work with what could be described as a cavernous quality. It also has a uniquely luminescent feel, adding up to a personal favourite of my own work.
